Scholarship Lottery Drawing
At our annual scholarship lottery/ dinner held on May 15, 2003, $45,000 was awarded for tuition assistance to eligible families in Newton. These 45 families will be able to use this award towards their child care costs at any family child care, center based infant/toddler, preschool program or summer camp. Funds for this lottery were raised through grants, fund raising events and donations. Donations to this scholarship fund are always appreciated!
In our 14 year history, the Newton Child Care Commission has been pleased to have had the opportunity to award $584,500 to low to moderate income Newton families to help with their child care costs!
