The Newton Child Care Commission receives funding for operational expenses through the City of Newton. Funding for the Newton Child Care Fund, the scholarship arm of the organization, is raised through private donations, direct mail, corporate and foundation grants and other fund raising events.

NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) is a national credentialing program which sets standards, evaluates and recognizes a high level of quality child care within a program. Programs accredited by NAEYC are indicated by an  .

Some web browsers allow you to reduce the size of pages that are printed. You may want to see if your browser (such as Safari or Internet Explorer) will allow you to do this before you print pages from this site, such as provider lists or applications.

To see if you can change these settings, pull down the "File" menu, and select "Page Setup...". A dialog box will appear with options for paper size, orientation, etc. If there is an option to "Reduce or Enlarge" with a percentage value in a box, you can lower the number to less than 100% (say 85%) so that the webpage will fit on the sheet of paper better.
